We must ensure that every child has a healthy and strong start

If Richmond is to prosper, we must build a healthy city, particularly for our most vulnerable population – our children. We should be doing all that we can to give every child a healthy start on life. When I sat on the VCU Health System Board, there were plans to build a regional Children’s Hospital. The time has come for us to blow the dust off those plans.

We must come together,with the brightest minds in the medical field, children’s Health activists, and our corporate partners to begin developing a regional one-stop shop for pediatric medical care.
